Dalena Wallace - Welcome to Soaring Education Services

After more than a decade of homeschooling her six children and offering support to other homeschool moms, Dalena realized her passion was in helping others think outside the box when it comes to educating children in the Lord. In 2017, she helped launch a homeschool co-op, and in 2020, she opened her home to start a hybrid microschool, serving other homeschool students along with her own.

Since then, she has been instrumental in encouraging others to launch, continue, or expand their own creative Christian learning environments across Kansas. She excels at community building, and through her business, AIM Educational Collaborative, she supports several microschool founder networks. In January 2024, Dalena launched the HERO (Heartland Education Reformation Organization) project to encourage the growth of church-supported microschools across her home state of Kansas and throughout the Heartland.

Dalena is excited to begin her new role with Soaring, where she will collaborate with numerous partner organizations dedicated to advancing innovation in Christian education. She looks forward to working with the team to develop an online resource hub and facilitate cohorts and conferences, creating a collaborative space for supporters of the movement to connect and elevate each other’s work. Dalena views Soaring’s personalized coaching and consulting services, along with its unique expertise in starting schools, as essential for both catalyzing and sustaining the growth of Christian microschools. By integrating Soaring’s unique offerings with the specialized services of partner organizations, she looks forward to driving continued innovation in Christian education.
